Family Connections

This year we are excited to focus on building family connections! 

As a PTO, we want everyone in our community to be heard and know what's happening at our school and in their child's grade level, especially during a year where we all feel disconnected. We know that a lot of communication happens best at the classroom level and that's our focus for a new committee at Wickliffe, the Family Connections committee. 

We are looking for a classroom representative from every class. The classroom representative will work to connect families in their classroom. This doesn't have to be formal at all! Just an introduction to other parents and an offer to help answer questions, look for answers, etc. Also, this might be an opportunity to meet other parents in an acceptable way when we can't have large gatherings. 

Our hope is that one classroom representative per grade level will attend general PTO meetings. 

Additionally, we have created individual grade level Facebook groups. We encourage classroom representatives and parents of all students to utilize these groups to build community during a year that makes in person community building impossible! 

Please check out the Wickliffe Elementary Class of 2028, 2029, 2030, 2031, 2032, 2033 groups... join and post the name of your child's teacher. We look forward to a wonderful year ahead.
